Dr. Mundi

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Mundi grew up on a farm and has been caring for animals from an early age. This lifelong love of animals eventually led him to veterinary school. After graduating, he worked as a mixed-animal practitioner for more than 10 years, treating both farm animals and companion animals with compassion and care.

After moving to Canada, Dr. Mundi completed the rigorous examinations required to obtain his Canadian veterinary licence. During this process, he worked as a small-animal veterinarian, initially under guidance and supervision, and later independently after successfully completing his final examinations. He has practiced small-animal medicine and surgery in Calgary and Kelowna for several years before opening his own clinic, My Family Pet Clinic.

Dr. Mundi also has extensive experience working with local rescue organizations in Calgary. He regularly takes continuing education courses to expand his knowledge, strengthen his skills, and stay current with new developments in veterinary medicine and surgery.

His special interests include preventive medicine, including wellness examinations, annual bloodwork, vaccinations, deworming, spay and neuter procedures, as well as dentistry and hospice care for senior pets.

When he is not working, Dr. Mundi enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, watching classic movies, and reading.

Selena

Veterinary Assistant

Selena has always been passionate about animals, which led her to pursue a zoology degree at the University of Calgary. From there, she worked alongside animal technicians at the Wilder Institute Calgary Zoo caring for African savannah animals, volunteering at local animal shelters, and working in a doggy daycare. Those experiences have only fueled her resolve and passion to pursue the veterinarian field. She is eager to learn new skills as she advances her career.

Outside of work, she enjoys family trips, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her own pets.

Trinity

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Trinity has always had a deep love for animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to make a difference in their lives. She attended Olds College, where she studied Veterinary Technology. Working in veterinary medicine is incredibly rewarding for Trinity, especially when she can help animals feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. She believes every patient deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care.

Outside of work, Trinity is a proud pet parent to her English Bulldog, Hazel, who is a very special part of her life. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exploring new places, and listening to music.

Cailyn

Veterinary Technical Assistant

Cailyn is a certified veterinary technician assistant and a passionate pet lover! Born and raised in Calgary, Cailyn attended Olds College to further her studies and embrace her passion of helping animals. Cailyn is eager to learn more about the veterinary world and how she can make an impact in it. To give back to the community, she dedicates her free hours to volunteering at the Regal Cat Cafe in downtown Calgary. Speaking of cats, Cailyn is a proud pet owner of a black cat, named Curie, and her two labradors, Honey and Benson.

When not working, she loves to scuba dive, surf, read and spend time with her family and friends. Cailyn is so excited to be a part of the My Family Pet Clinic team and can’t wait to meet your furry friend!
